Cells

A Cell Group is a group of 3-12 people who gather together on a weekly basis. The purpose of a Cell Group is meant to edify, build up and equip one another, by teaching the Word of God, praying for people’s needs, and motivating each person to become a disciple, ready to disciple.

It is in this environment that we learn, grow and thrive alongside other believers, whilst discovering our identity, purpose and destiny. Belonging to a Cell Group and attending an Encounter Weekend is essential and forms part of the discipleship backbone of River East London. The Encounter Weekend is a spirit-filled three-day ministry held separately for men and women. We aim to host such a weekend away, at least once per term. An Encounter is the first experience of coming face to face with God and His Word. During this time, you not only identify and completely uproot everything that came to steal, kill or destroy your life, but you will also be able to reflect on your daily life and in faith, plan for a better future.
